His energy audit experience includes the SEQUIS building, Jakarta Islamic Hospital and Menara BTN Harmoni. He has also participated in a PROPER verification team for PT Pertamina. These assignments bring a practical perspective to energy use and environmental performance across different organizational settings.
He holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Indonesia and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, both focused on energy conversion. He also completed the engineering profession program at Universitas Diponegoro. His assessment experience spans electricity, refrigeration engineering and lecturer workload evaluation.

His academic leadership experience includes serving as Dean of the Faculty of Energy Technology and Business at Institut Teknologi PLN, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Dian Nusantara and Head of Mechanical Engineering at Universitas Asahan. His background also includes mechanical engineering laboratory leadership at Institut Teknologi Medan.
